Happy New Year, everyone!!
I hope this post finds you filled with excitement and hope for all that 2010 will bring to you -- I know I am!!
2010 is certain to bring a lot of wonderful changes to my life, as I officially start Stacy Smith Photography. There's lots to be done that's both thrilling and a bit terrifying, but mostly I'm just so excited to be in a position to make a go of turning a passion into a career. One of my first steps will be getting my new website up and running, and when that happens, you guys will be the first to know. Next up will be actually trying to drum up some business, so if any of you are interested in having pictures done in 2010, whether it's of your kids or your whole family, please keep me in mind. I'd love the opportunity to work with you!
In the meantime, I'm also taking the start of a new year to signal a re-commitment of sorts, to myself, personally. I'm not really a resolution maker, per se, but I do think that the beginning of a new year can offer a great reminder of the importance of taking care of myself, making time for my family, committing to friendships and focusing on what's truly important.
So my wish for you, blog readers, is that 2010 is better for you than 2009 was -- may you have a happy, healthy, JOYFUL new year!!
